Economics 708: Advanced Topics
in Applied and Theoretical Microeconomics

Course Description:

Econ 708 is a workshop designed to give graduate students an opportunity to present their research ideas and receive feedback from Economics faculty and other graduate students. Students must be officially registered for this course in order to present a paper in Econ 708. In addition, they need to request an available slot and enter their paper title, abstract, and (if available) the full text of their paper (as a pdf file) which will be posted on the

online schedule

prior to presentation date. Students can request a presentation slot, and enter their paper title/abstract and upload their papers when available by creating an account in the Conference Maker software that Prof. Rust is using to help organize Econ 708.

Login/Create a Conference Maker account to "submit" your paper.

Severe sanctions will be imposed on students who sign up for one of the scarce slots and cancel with less than 2 weeks advance notice. These sanctions include a reduced grade and lower priority in signing up for future slots in Econ 708.
